CostQuote helps UK SMEs compare essential business services such as energy, broadband, phones, insurance and business finance. The idea is simple: choose what you want to compare, answer the questions that matter for that service, and we pass your enquiry to one specialist partner for that service, named to you before anything is sent. That partner comes back to you with quotes or options. CostQuote does not run a quote engine of its own.

We are not trying to make every category use the same form. Energy and broadband usually need a postcode-first journey. Insurance needs to understand the business activity and cover type. Finance needs to understand the amount, purpose, trading history and basic eligibility information. Better questions create better matches.

Choose the comparison you need

Start with the service you want to review and we will ask for the right details.

Why the service is free for SMEs

CostQuote is free for SMEs to use. When you proceed with a partner we have introduced, that partner pays us a referral fee out of their own income. You do not pay us anything, and the fee is not added on top of your price. Referral arrangements are standard in the UK comparison market, but they deserve to be explained plainly.

The payment model never changes what you are told. We say when a partner may pay us, we never charge you directly, and we tell you exactly who receives your details before anything is sent.

What happens to your details

When you submit a comparison request, we collect the information needed to pass your enquiry on. That may include your business name, postcode, contact details and product-specific information such as supplier, renewal date, cover type or funding amount.

We share your details only with the one partner relevant to the comparison you choose, and we name that partner to you before anything is sent. We do not send your details to unrelated companies. We keep a record of the consent wording, privacy policy version, timestamp and selected category, so there is an audit trail for every enquiry.

How we choose partners

We choose each partner for product fit, service quality, compliance position, contact speed, acceptance criteria and reporting capability. For finance and insurance, regulatory status matters. For energy, transparency around commission matters. For broadband and phones, availability and serviceability matter.

What CostQuote is not

  • CostQuote is not a lender.
  • CostQuote is not an insurer.
  • CostQuote does not provide regulated financial advice.
  • CostQuote does not guarantee savings, approval, cover or availability.
  • CostQuote is a trading style of GoConvert Solutions Ltd.

The value of CostQuote is in making comparison easier, cleaner and more transparent. For users, that means less hassle. For partners, it means better-qualified SME enquiries with clearer intent and better data.

We are building a one-off email nudge for renewals that are months away. It is not built yet, so we will not take your email address for it.

Until then, put a date in your own calendar for the month before your renewal. That is the point where comparing is worth your time.
