Modern slavery statement

This statement sets out the approach taken by Go Convert Solutions Ltd, trading as cost/quote, to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chain.

Last updated: 24 June 2026

Go Convert Solutions Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 12737198. cost/quote is a trading style of Go Convert Solutions Ltd.

Although Go Convert Solutions Ltd is not currently required to publish a statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we have chosen to publish this statement voluntarily because we take ethical business practices, supplier standards and customer trust seriously.

Our commitment

We do not tolerate modern slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, human trafficking, exploitation, or abusive working practices in any part of our business or supply chain.

We expect the same standard from any supplier, commercial partner, lender, broker, comparison partner, service provider, contractor, or third party we work with.

Our business is built around connecting UK businesses with relevant suppliers and comparison partners. While our direct operational risk is relatively low, we recognise that modern slavery risks can exist in wider supply chains, particularly where services are delivered by third parties, subcontractors, outsourced teams, or organisations with complex labour arrangements.

Our business and supply chain

cost/quote helps UK businesses compare essential services, including energy, finance, broadband, phones, insurance and business banking.

Our supply chain may include:

  • technology providers
  • website, hosting, software and data services
  • marketing and analytics platforms
  • call handling and customer support services
  • professional advisers
  • commercial partners, brokers and suppliers
  • regulated lenders or providers, where applicable

We do not manufacture goods, operate factories, employ large manual labour teams, or use high-risk overseas production supply chains. However, we still expect our partners and suppliers to operate responsibly and lawfully.

Partner and supplier due diligence

Before working with key partners, we carry out proportionate checks based on the type of relationship and the level of risk involved.

These checks may include:

  • confirming company details and trading status
  • reviewing regulatory authorisation where this applies, including FCA, Ofgem or Ofcom status
  • checking whether the partner appears suitable, credible and reputable
  • reviewing how customer data will be handled
  • considering whether the partner’s business model presents any obvious ethical, regulatory or customer protection concerns

Where a partner or supplier presents a higher risk, we may request further information before working with them or continuing the relationship.

Policies and expectations

We expect everyone working with or on behalf of Go Convert Solutions Ltd to:

  • comply with all applicable employment, labour, anti-slavery and human trafficking laws
  • treat workers fairly, lawfully and respectfully
  • avoid forced, bonded, compulsory or trafficked labour
  • avoid exploitative recruitment practices
  • maintain appropriate working conditions
  • raise concerns where they suspect unethical or unlawful conduct

If we become aware of a credible modern slavery concern involving a supplier or partner, we will review the relationship and take appropriate action. This may include requesting further information, requiring corrective action, suspending activity, or ending the relationship.

Risk assessment

We consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct business operations to be low because we are a UK-based digital comparison and lead generation business with a small operational structure.

The greater risk sits within wider third-party supply chains, particularly where external suppliers, partners, outsourced support teams, contractors, or service providers are involved.

We manage this risk through proportionate partner checks, ongoing commercial oversight, and a willingness to challenge or stop working with organisations that do not meet the standards we expect.

Training and awareness

As a small business, we do not currently operate a formal modern slavery training programme. However, directors and relevant team members are expected to be alert to ethical, regulatory and customer protection risks when onboarding or managing commercial partners.

As the business grows, we will review whether further training, supplier questionnaires, contract clauses or formal compliance processes are required.

Relevant indicators may include:

  • the number of supplier or partner concerns raised
  • the number of partner reviews or checks completed
  • any relationships declined, suspended or ended due to ethical, regulatory or compliance concerns
  • improvements made to supplier onboarding or partner due diligence
